Anna Glezer, MD
Founder & Head Lecturer - Fellowship in Reproductive & Integrative Psychiatry
Bio:
Dr. Glezer began her training at Harvard and then transitioned to the University of California, San Francisco, where she has been a practicing physician, teacher, mentor, and is a volunteer associate professor.
She began her experience in reproductive psychiatry at the end of residency training at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital, and within the first few months as an attending psychiatrist, participated in the launch of the first OB-Psychiatry clinic at UCSF. In 2017, she founded the Women's Wellness Psychiatry clinic, a practice devoted to providing comprehensive reproductive psychiatry care to women across California. As she strove to provide well rounded care, she was drawn to integrative mental health and completed an Integrative Psychiatry Fellowship Program.
She has worked with hundreds of women going through the emotional challenges of conception, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, and perimenopause. She has been interviewed for, and her written work has appeared on multiple leading sites, including Huffington Post, Fit Pregnancy, Healthline, Help Guide, and more. She has presented at local and national conferences and published in academic journals. She established the annual Bay Area Perinatal Mental Health Conference, launched the educational website Mind Body Pregnancy, and most recently launched the Women’s Wellness Psychiatry Podcast to inform women about mental health and emotional issues common in the reproductive years.
